The blues music world lost a true original when L.C. Ulmer passed away on February 14th, 2016 at 87 years old. L.C. played the fish fries, picnics, gas stations, and festival stages all over Mississippi and then took the music of the deep delta all over the U.S. He was a traveling solo musician, emcee, one-man band, and a band leader. L.C. was one of the funniest and most congenial people we've ever me, and as you'll hear in today's program, one of the best interview subjects we've ever had. BSC contributor John Paul Keith returns to continue his series, Something On The Side.
